College entrance exams are a multimillion dollar industry that feeds the pockets of the companies that make the m,  as well as the tutors that help to prepare struggling students.  Recalling my own experience with college entrance exams like the SAT over 30 years ago, I would have never believed that they would still exist.  As we all know, powerful corporations tend to maintain their stronghold well after the downsides of their products are exposed. Studies have revealed females score higher in high school and college classes ; however, males score better than females on the college entrance exams. Finding the Best College for Students with Learning Disabilities

Finding the best college is tricky for any student, but for those with learning disabilities (LDs) it can be an even bigger feat. In fact, the perfect school is out there for practically anyone, but finding it, takes some time and persistence. There are a number of options for students with LDs from colleges that cater primarily to this population to larger universities that offer specialized programs. With the proper testing in hand, all schools are mandated to provide reasonable accommodations, but not all institutions make it an easy task. What Are My Options? How to Find the Right Graduate Program

It is always a difficult process to find the right graduate program. There are a plethora of options out there and locating the perfect place can be tricky and time consuming. I wanted to share my own personal anecdote as well as some recommendations. I hope that you find this helpful! What inspired this post was a question by one of my followers. Below you will find their question in blue and my answer in red. I am a special education teacher and have been for 20 years +. I also work as an adjunct professor for several Massachusetts colleges. I have my masters +60 additional graduate credits, but have yet to commit to a doctoral program because I cannot find one that really interests me.
